Status Construction

Transforming the constraints of the compact site, the design evolves from the vision of a continuous long wall circling at the center where the spaces inside float scenically to segregate the basic functions of a residence. The design also enhances the focus on the volumes where the building metaphors itself to be an art standing timeless by the play of light in the space infinitely.

The entry into the premises is carved out of the mounded landscape leading to a cozy entrance that takes one through the folded volume. The spaces are anchored around the tree in the court while a tranquil double-height volume allows the penetration of diffused light. The wooden deck stitches the balcony overlooking the central court while engaging with private rooms.
