A series of functional spaces tied together by a central bridge establishes the vision of street culture within the sports complex. Encompassed within a grid, the open, semi-open, and built volumes are connected by a street, forming the central spine of the community.
The double-height achieved through the linear spine opens up a visual connection to the individual sports areas. The upper level of the street further forms the soul of the space and transforms into a major zone of accidental interactions amongst other activities. The cluster of spaces is tied together by an outer shell, which ultimately creates a feeling of vastness, yet retains a sense of coziness within the individual spaces.
